Speaking for Ourselves July e-news
As our two-year project draws to a close, we will use the rest of the year to communicate the living heritage of disabled people to as wide an audience as possible.
We aim to deposit 230 hours of recordings with the British Library Sound Archive in August and will place summaries, transcripts (and we hope sound and video clips – watch this space!) over the coming months at http://www.speakingforourselves.org.uk/interviews/index.shtml
1,200 teaching packs distributed already!
In the first two months, we have had requests for 1,200 teaching packs from schools from Walsall to Iraq! If you would like further free copies of the DVD (or VHS) and teaching pack for yourself (or teachers you may know), please email s4o@scope.org.uk
